The studio focuses on visual and publishing practices, mainly working with lens-based artists, offering production of printed works like artist books in limited runs with thoughtful design and handcrafted techniques. Taking research as a model of work, BEGINNER SWIMMER WORKS constantly seeks valuable ways to explore the behavior of images and the different ways of relating to them. We aim to produce and publish photography works not confined to traditional book making, but also as collectible objects.
